Kronos Soul Academy

Welcome to Kronos Soul Academy. We are happy that you’ve joined our guild. We take pride in offering new players a warm place to be, where they can find the answers they need and enjoy the camaraderie we experience daily.

Activity

  • We expect players to do 15 levels a month.
  • We expect players to log in at least once every week. After 2 weeks, you could be kicked unless you told an officer about a break.
  • We expect players to greet the room when entering and leaving.

Social Expectations

  • Be respectful towards each other. We have people of varying levels and in different countries. To play in a manner otherwise would take away from the warm and friendly environment we’ve tried to achieve. This behaviour is expected in the guild chats, as well as the World Chat. If you feel that you’ve been disrespected or treated unfairly, message an officer.
  • Install the Alliance chat so more people can help you (In the Mutik-script, you only need to enter a code, to gain access)
  • Answer questions to the best of your abilities.
  • Let people know that you heard their question even if you cannot answer it. No one wants to feel alone.
  • As stated above, we expect players to greet the room when entering and leaving.
  • We expect Players with a level higher than 750, to spend all honor in the guild. Before that level we understand that players have to spend (some) honor on bigger WRs.
  • To be promoted from member to soldier, send this password to an officer in private chat: “Chatterbox”

Campaigns

Campaigns can be found by clicking the shield in the guild hall.

  • The first thing to do after greeting the kongregate guild room is to join all the campaigns and tag at least one node per campaign for 1 honor.
  • If a player puts a node into regen-mode, that player need to tell everyone immediatly via the kongregate and guild hall chat. A node with the regeneration prefix starts regenerating when it is hit below 50% health.

Raids

  • Share smaller raids to the guild and the alliance chat for a few minutes before making them public.
  • Ask for a Steed of the western wold raid if you need a decent mount.

Guild Raids (Honor)

  • All players in the guild are able to summon Guild raids.
  • Resummon a raid after you killed it.
  • Rhal and Grundus require a small amount of damage to get maximum loot (1-H hit), so everyone should take the time to hit those raids.

Officers

Officers are people who have taken an active role in helping the guild run smoothly. Sometimes that means you don’t get what you want, but please know they act in the best interest of the guild.

These are the current officers for the Kronos Souls Academy:

  • Einhander ~ Current guild leader
  • DragonRage44
  • Caster
  • Grendal
  • Fred
  • AlithAnnar

Additional tasks for officers

  • Send a recruit message when they come online and check the inbox for recruits.
  • Remove inactive players once the guild is at 98 players.
  • Educate players when possible.
  • Help solve conflicts.

Final Words of Wondering…

We want you to enjoy yourself, we are a casual guild in that regard, but there is a difference between casual and inactive. We have limited spots in the guild and after some time of not levelling, we’ll have to find someone who wants to spend a bit more time in the guild. After all: we cannot be a team and work together, if you don’t show up. That being said, if you’re open and communicative about having a vacation for a month, that’s fine and we’ll await your return.

OLD VERSION

Welcome to Kronos Soul Academy. We are happy that you’ve joined our guild. We take pride in offering new players a warm place to be, where they can find the answers they need and enjoy the camaraderie we experience daily.

Please see each of the following areas to help you familiarize yourself with our guidelines. Thanks!

Activity:

We expect our members to be active. By doing so, you improve and so will the guild as a whole. What does this mean for you?

  • Log on and play! If you go inactive for longer than two weeks without notifying an officer (Current inactivity officer: Grendal), you may be booted from the guild. A list of the officers is included below.
  • At a minimum, we expect about 15 level gains per month to be considered “active”.
  • Hit your chosen raids for minimum fair share (FS), or as close as you can get, and the campaigns when they are going.
  • Play, participate, be social and active!

Campaigns:

These may also be called camps. These are like questing zones with only bosses. Occasionally these cast spells (Chilling/Curses), Vengeful (a class or level does less damage due to this) or can be regenerating (they can gain back life). They use HONOR.

  • Collection Nodes:
    • Only 110 of each item may be contributed on a 50 person collection node.
    • Only 55 of each item may be contributed on a 25 person collection node.
    • If, and only if an officer is not online, the guild may finish off a collection node after it has been alive for 30 minutes, provided there are no other nodes for hitting.
  • For nodes that only allow 25 or 50 people, you are asked to join, use your honor and then leave the node. This allows for more members to participate.(Simply click as you would to join and select leave.)
  • You will still get any loot and guild experience that you’ve earned.
  • On nodes that are regenerating, please do not take them below the set limit. Once below 50% health, they begin to regenerate health. An officer will call for a “NUKE” on these nodes, and all members should pitch in to take that node down.
  • If a guild member accidentally puts a node into regen, they need to inform everyone promptly via every chat possible (except World Chat), which means the guild room chat, the Kongregate chat and the in-game chat.
  • Order of Campaigns: The Frozen War > Bastion of Blood > Giants of Chalua > Monsters and Magma > Grey Death

Raids:

You can summon your own raids, partake in the guild raids (g-raids) or hit the raids in the world chat (WC). People in our guild can even help you find one if you’re look for something particular and give you advice.

    • Do fair share on raids and DO NOT over-hit the 10-person raids. We understand that sometimes a magic will proc and you’ll do more than intended.
    • Always summon raids on Nightmare difficulty. It’s not as scary as it sounds and will help you to earn ap (achievement points) and better loot.
    • Magic is fun! However, some magics in this game just plain suck and most of your guild members have acquired something better. So before you cast Lesser Poison, ask people to cast magic on your raid. Many are happy to and won’t hit the raid until you’re ready to share it. (Ideal magics: Greater Impending Doom, Haste, Feeding Frenzy, Guster’s Fault)
    • Sharing raids gets more players on a raid. For some larger raids, it’s essential to taking them down. If you did not summon the raid, do not share the raid unless you have permission from the summoner. You might even hear something said about keeping a raid in the guild.

Guild Raids (Honor)

  • Stay in the guild (cannot be shared) and can be summoned quickly, by asking an officer or another member with summoning abilities. If you accidently take one down by being amazing, let us know. We can put another one up most of the time.
  • Rhal and Grundus require a small amount of damage to get maximum loot (1-H hit), so everyone should take the time to hit those raids.
  • When a guild raid goes down, resummon it. If you’re not a summoner yet, ask for it to be summoned.
  • Exceptions: DO NOT summon large raids during a campaign. If you’re not sure, please ask an officer.

Magics

Social Expectations:

  • Be polite and respectful. We have people of varying levels and in different countries. To play in a manner otherwise would take away from the warm and friendly environment we’ve tried to achieve. This behaviour is expected in the guild chats, as well as the World Chat. If you feel that you’ve been disrespected or treated unfairly, message an officer.
  • Answer questions to the best of your abilities when one is asked of you. For example, What is the fair share for the Grundus raid? Answer with the actual number (120 M) instead of just sending people to the wiki page. It is okay to talk to each other. (http://dotd.wikia.com/wiki/Dawn_of_the_Dragons_Wiki)
  • Say “hi” or “bye” once in awhile! We don’t bite (literally, there are computers in front of most of us) and we’re a pretty fun and goofy bunch. Talk about your dog, monkey, friend’s uncle…. all is welcome. Heck, you could even talk about the game, but beware, someone might respond (eek!).
  • There is a three strikes and you’re out policy. If you have a question, please ask.
  • We expect Players with a level higher than 750, to spend all honor in the guild. Before that level we understand that players have to spend (some) honor on bigger WRs.

Officers

Officers are people who have taken an active role in helping the guild run smoothly. They have the ability to welcome new members, enforce the guidelines, boot those not following guidelines, summon raids and give promotions.  Each of them may serve a different task for the guild, but regardless, we work together. These are the current officers for the Kronos Souls Academy:

  • Einhander ~ Current guild leader
  • dragonrage44 ~ Chat officer, camp officer, and camp node smasher
  • Caster ~
  • Grendal ~ Inactivity and recruitment officer
  • Smbisme ~

To be promoted from member to soldier, send this password to an officer in private chat: “Chatterbox”
